Library Visits
We love serving all our students at the Elementary Library!
Our Pre-K and Kinder students enjoy read alouds and coloring or activities with Mrs. Torres every week.
1st - 5th grade enjoy our flexible seating options.
Soon we will have new tables and chairs for our students to enjoy. The tables will have dry erase tops!
All 5th Grade students checked out our brand new HP Chromebook 14 G7's this year! These are fantastic 14" touchscreens that snuggly fit in brand new Higher Ground cases.
If students need help logging in to their Chromebook, please send them to the library!
CMS Library Google Classroom
The Middle School Library now has a Google Classroom! If you have questions or just want to stay up to date on what is going on at the Middle School Library, this is the place for you!
Google Classroom Code: kf7tmz7
Moving on Out!
So many books, so little time!
Where will we go? Right across the street, of course, into our very own Library Portable.
We will still continue to offer our entire collection to students and staff as well as help with your students' Chromebook needs.
Did you know our current Middle School collection consists of about 6,500 books & Chromebooks! That's a lot of knowledge and fun contained in one room!

Freed Between the Lines
Banned Books Week, launched in 1982, is meant to increase public awareness of censorship and encourages people to protect access to books and information.
The American Library Association compiles data throughout the year on book challenges either reported to them or from US news stories. Book challenges rose last year from 2,571 in 2022 to 4,240 in 2023. The majority of these challenges take place in public (54%) and school (39%) libraries and are initiated by patrons (28%), parents (24%), and pressure groups (21%).
